Description
A summer in Kodiak, Alaska promises to be unforgettable and life changing with many hours of fun, adventure and hard work.
Summer counselors lead and instruct camps such as kayaking, outdoor skills, pottery, gymnastics and geocashing (to name a few) for children ranging in age from 6 to 13 years old. Camp runs Monday through Friday beginning June 1st and ending August 20th. Our summer staff is made up of college students and young professionals who come and experience a unique island ministry by living in community, exploring biblical principles and growing in practical disciplines of the Christian life. Our summer team also spends three separate weeks ministering in the nearby village of Ouzinkie.

There are two session for the summer of 2010. The first session runs from May 25 through July 23. The second session begins June 30 and runs through August 21. We encourage our staff to stay for as long as possible. We also understand scheduling conflicts and are flexible when making arrangements.
