Stop the Chaos is a secular workbook geared towards adult substance abusers and their families.  It contains more readings and information than other similar workbooks while providing room for exercises and personal responses.  An entire chapter is devoted to the substance abuser’s family and their concerns about recovery.  Certain exercises are followed by an action plan section to help individuals prepare their responses to threats to their recovery.  The workbook also includes personal stories to illustrate the topics being addressed.  Chapters include:
