In the first instance, we want to look after the children of Kisii who have lost one or both parents or who, for whatever reason are vulnerable. We also want to offer counselling to those children who do not need a home, but are vulnerable in some way.

In order to do this KCIS Shild Support Centre has acquired some land on which we are going to build a home for these disadvantaged children.

Presently, the childen on our register are fostered out to families in the town. This is costly and makes it difficult to ensure that the children receive all the care they need.

With this in mind, we are looking at the possibility of renting houses into which we can install the most needy children.

To raise funds to build the home (or rent the houses), to look after the children presently in the care of the centre, and children who may come into their care in the future.

MISSION STATEMENT:
To fight poverty, give real hope to as many needy youth and children as possible, and to aid them in overcome the burdens of poverty to become healthy, educated, self-sustaining and contribution.

Increase the participation of beneficiaries in the planning and implementation of their initiatives in poverty alleviation and development activities such as economic infrastructure, health education, water supply and sanitation, agriculture and livestock production and environmental conservation.

To promote, encourage and enhance inter-cultural exchange of ideas , experiences and knowledge between different people groups.
